Snoquera & Dalles Creek Falls
Scenery: | (3.0 / 5) |

The 6-mile loop hike northeast of Mt. Rainier including Snoquera Falls and Dalles Creek Falls is a must-see for waterfall lovers looking to get their hearts pumping. Both waterfalls plunge over different sections of the south-facing wall of Dalles Ridge near Camp Sheppard in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Snoquera Falls, falling some 400 feet over two horsetail drops into a scree-filled rock gorge, is the main attraction of the hike, but nearby Dalles Creek Falls, tumbling 280 feet in one long, sinewy rock-hopping drop through a forested chute, doesn’t disappoint either. And the huge trees, boulders, and dappled green light along the way almost make you forget what a trudge it can be to see these great waterfalls.
