Laplash Falls
Laplash Falls, Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Washington, US

Scenery:3 out of 5 stars (3.0 / 5)
Difficulty:4 out of 5 stars (4.0 / 5)

At Laplash Falls, Bear Creek splits into two channels and then converges over a wide rock wall before dropping like a curtain 47 feet into a rock grotto and disappearing downstream into the lush second-growth forest. The wild and green environment at the bottom of this little-known falls feels like deep wilderness even though the hike in from the road is less than a mile.
